Solidarity In Motion Inc is a Brisbane-based organisation established in July 2024.
The organisation has been set up to assist with the running of activity-based campaigns through the provision of organisational, banking, advice and logistical support.
Born out of the need to provide organisational support for The Big Ride for Palestine — Australia, the organisation was incorporated in Queensland with the intention of registering as a charity.
We aim to work with organisations that are intent on creating social change at a grass-roots level. We want to provide support to organisations such as unions and community organisations that are empowering people through building capacity to challenge the injustices they face and working towards a world where the mass of people have control over their own lives.
our AIMS
- 1. To provide benevolent relief for people in communities afflicted by war, conflict, poverty, and suffering, through the provision of financial and material support;
- a) For educational, health, cultural and sustainable development purposes,
- b) for the protection of human rights, and
- c) for humanitarian aid in times of crisis.
- 2. To work in partnership with organisations and individuals in Australia and overseas to achieve equity and social justice.
